Arlene possesses a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and has been a CPRP since 2003. She specializes in employment and education services and has been Director of these services at Horizon House for 15 years. Arlene has also worked part-time as a consultant to the Temple University Collaborative on Community Inclusion and has written several publications including co-authoring a book chapter in Best Practices in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and co-authoring “A Practical Guide for People with Disabilities Who Want to Go to College.”
Arlene is a previous PAPRS Board Member and has also served as a PAPRS Advisory Board Member. She co-chaired the PAPRS Conference for over 10 years and frequently presents at both PAPRS and PRA Conferences. In June 2015, Arlene received the distinguished Leroy Spaniol Educator Award at the Annual PRA Conference.
