Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist

The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist supports individuals in building skills and connecting to resources in the areas of living, learning, working, socialization and wellness based on the person’s self-identified area of change. Site-based classes and mobile services are provided.

$500 Sign on bonus eligible per incentive guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Certification in employment services as recognized by current supported employment funding sources
• CPRP certification
• Two years of work experience in mental health direct service including at least one year in psychiatric rehabilitation services
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to read, interpret and apply policies, plans and regulations
• Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and able to learn other software as needed
• Valid driver’s license
• Daily access to privately maintained and insured vehicle depending on work location
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks
